ROMAC a name that has become synonymous with manpower provision, professional building maintenance, sound management and quality service. ROMAC was established in September 1980 as a single proprietorship enterprise. ROMAC was derived from the surnames of spouses Renato G. Romero and Agnes C. Macam. What started out as a small business enterprise, has become one of the biggest service provider for various industries. ROMAC has 36 years of proven track performance and satisfied clients.
Its initial venture started with a few awards of small contracts by the 13th Air Force Contracting Center of the U.S Air Force at Clark Airbase. ROMAC’s services included the repair of various equipment used by the different agencies of the U.S government then commissioned at the base. Soon after, the offices of the U.S Navy in Subic Naval Base, Camp O’Donnel, Wallace Air Station and Camp John Hay became regular clients as well. Its ranges of services expanded to include the repair and maintenance of audio visual equipment of the military forces and their dependent schools, the maintenance of the tape recorders used in the F-4 jet fighters, the operation & maintenance of U.S Government facilities like the sewage treatment plant, base water plant, air conditioning facilities and the cleaning of the military offices & civilian housing facilities.
Sometime in 1984, its founder Renato G. Romero, took a bold step and endeavoured to introduce the technology he acquired from years of servicing the U.S Bases to the businesses of Central Luzon. ROMAC’s clientele steadily grew over the years to include some of the biggest businesses in the region. ROMAC rose to become one of the biggest janitorial and services company in Central Luzon. This was made possible though the dedication, constant development and high standards of quality of ROMAC.
Nine years after its initial operations, ROMAC Services was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The name was changed to ROMAC SERVICES AND TRADING COMPANY, INC. (RSTCI). This staged the further growth and diversification of the business. RSTCI diversified into food processing, agriculture and Logistics services. The ROMAC Group of Companies now has operations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
ROMAC is your business partner for all your manpower out-sourcing and contracting requirements!
Chairman's Message
ROMAC is the result of my single-minded determination to provide the best quality of life possible for my growing family and at the same time fulfill an enduring dream of establishing an enterprise that would be a legacy not only to my children but to my community and country as well.
A concatenation of our combined surnames ROMero and MACam, ROMAC eventually became the quintessential embodiment of a husband and wife team that modestly started out as a single proprietorship driven by a persistent desire to provide a better future for our children that eventually grew to become an enterprise that provides substantial employment and income to the community and consequently continue to contribute to the economic growth of our country.
Our first clients were the 13th Air Force Contracting Center of the U.S. Air Force at Clark Airbase and our services entailed the repair of various equipment used by the different agencies of the U.S. Government then commissioned at the base. Soon after the offices of the U.S. Navy in Subic Naval Base, Camp O’Donnel, Wallace Air Station and Camp John Hay became regular clients as well. Our range of services expanded to include the repair and maintenance of audio visual equipment of the military forces and their dependent schools, the maintenance of the tape recorders used in the F-4 jet fighters, the operation & maintenance of U.S. Government facilities like the sewage treatment plant, base water plant, air conditioning facilities and the cleaning of the military offices & civilian housing facilities.
Sometime in 1984, I took a bold step and endeavored to introduce the technology acquired from years of servicing the U.S. Bases to the businesses of Central Luzon. Our clientele steadily increased over the years to include some of the biggest businesses in the region and ROMAC rose to become one of the biggest janitorial and services company in Central Luzon. Commitment to service excellence and development of professionally trained and competently skilled personnel became the standard for ROMAC, anything less is unacceptable.
Nine Years after its initial operations, Romac Services was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The name was changed to ROMAC SERVICES AND TRADING COMPANY, INCORPORATED that staged the further growth and diversification of the business. We subsequently diversified into food processing, agriculture and logistics services. The ROMAC Group of Companies now has operations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
From its inception in September 1980, I had envisioned ROMAC as the distinguished provider of professional manpower services to essential industries. The years have been exceptionally kind and generous, and notwithstanding numerous challenges along the way we emerged triumphant.
Through hard work, diligence and commitment to excellence we gained the respect from our peers and colleagues in the industry and we were recognized as one of the leading companies in manpower service provision and professional building maintenance with an established reputation for quality service performance and a continuously growing list of prominent industry clients. Our operations expanded nationwide and my aspiration of contributing to the economic development of our nation became a realization.
I can claim that ROMAC’s enduring legacy and notable accomplishment in the industry was the professionalization of the janitorial services in our country. We were one of the first companies to provide uniforms to our personnel and we pioneered efforts at rendering prestige to the janitorial service by establishing its value to industries through continuous trainings designed to elevate our standards and upgrade the qualifications of our personnel to enable them to respond to the ancillary demands of the companies we serve.
