I have been into photography since 2010, my first time to handle and explore a DSLR camera. I read books and articles, and attended workshops and seminars about photography and took as many pictures as the batteries would allow. I looked at the first pictures that I took with utmost care and analyzed what can be improved in my first works of art. From then on, photography has turned from a hobby into a passion.

An effective photograph tells a story without words, but what makes a great photograph effective is when the image perseveres in the mind of the audience, in all element and detail. As what Henry David Thoreau said, “The question is not what you look at, but what you see”. It is merely a matter of seeing and hitting the shutter and “Boom! Orayt!”: a great photograph. After all, everything is a story worth telling, worth capturing.

With this principle, on December 8, 2014, Boijorge Photo Studio was founded: the day when hobby turned into passion, and passion into a career. It is amazing how life can be when it is lived fully, for life must not simply be lived, but lived fully. Here, we seize the day – as if it was the only, as if it was the last, as if there is no other moment to have. Carpe diem!
